Congratulations to Ricky Helen and Eddy for success in recent competitions

At the British University Taekwondo League World Championships, Ricky achieved a GOLD MEDAL🥇 for individual male poomsae.
Helen achieved a BRONZE MEDAL 🥉 for female individual poomsae.
Helen and Ricky also competed together in the teams’ poomsae and received a SILVER MEDAL 🥈!!

Eddy competed in a National Karate competition and received a BRONZE MEDAL 🥉 for individual sparring.

Barkers Taekwondo School – based in Bingham, Notts – was formed in 1983 and has become an established centre of excellence for the fast growing Olympic sport of Taekwondo

Grand Master Jonathan Barker 7th Dan is recognised as a Kukkiwon Master Instructor, having trained in Korea.

Grand Master Barker 7th Dan personally instructs the clubs training sessions and – along with his elite team of experienced Black Belts – provides top quality tuition in WTF style Taekwondo.

All our instructors are Kukkiwon registered and hold CRB and first aid certification.

The club is a member of the UKTDC (UK Taekwondo Development Council) and is governed by their code of practice and insurance.

Whatever your ability – beginner or Black Belt – just come along to our training sessions or contact us for more details.
